The BECC invites you to celebrate Independence Day in the most cultural way possible – by visiting the Kumu Museum. This is your opportunity to immerse yourself in Estonia’s rich history through a guided tour.
Our guided tour starts on the third floor, where you can see Baltic-German art from the 18th and 19th centuries. There is also an overview of Estonian national art from the first half of the 20th century. On the 4th floor, the exhibition continues with Estonian art from the Soviet period and the 1990s. The exhibitions on both floors also include a number of ‘project rooms’, which focus on a particular problem, artist or phenomenon in the period under consideration. The 5th floor of the Kumu building houses the Contemporary Art Gallery, where new exhibitions are constantly being organised.
