Book your tickets here >>   After the success of our first visit to Banned Books, the BECC has organised another guided tour with a networking session @Kennedy’s following the event. Banned Books, Keelatud Kirjandus, is a museum in Tallinn that preserves banned, censored, and burned books from around the world. We are calling it volume 2 because it will not be the same as last time. Plenty of changes have happened, so you are welcome to join us again. Banned Books, explores the highly relevant topic of literary censorship through telling the stories of these dangerous books and the lives of their authors, providing resources for learning about the history of censorship, contemporary challenges, and the free exchange of ideas. Museum Director, Joseph Dunnigan, will host a private tour for the BECC of a different section of the museum, sharing stories of censorship from around the world, and highlighting some of his favourite books from the collection. After this, there will be an opportunity to mingle at Kennedy´s Baar and Köök, which is just around the corner (Pikk 13). You are welcome to come to one or to both events. Agenda: 18:30 – Welcome to the museum by Joseph Dunnigan 18:40 – Guided Tour Begins 20:00 – Networking and Mingling @Kennedy´s
