Each year the United Kingdom and France remember all those who have given their lives in the service of their country, at a ceremony on the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War, 11 November. In Estonia this year, the UK and France will mark this occasion together.   The ceremony will take place in Tallinn’s Defence Forces Cemetery, at the graveside of some of the British servicemen who lost their lives during the First World War and when supporting Estonia’s fight for independence.   I would like to invite you to join Ambassador Mignot and me and the teams from our two Embassies at our joint Remembrance Day ceremony at Tallinn’s Military Cemetery, Filtri tee 14, on Monday 11 November. The Ceremony will begin at 10.30 so please arrive no later than 10.20. The two Embassies will be laying wreaths, as will representatives of the Estonian Defence Forces. You are welcome to lay your own wreath.
