Event Details
Each year the United Kingdom remembers all those who have given their lives in the service of their country at a ceremony on or close to 11 November, the anniversary of the Armistice that ended the First World War. In Estonia, this ceremony takes place in Tallinn’s Defence Forces Cemetery at the graveside of some of the British seamen who lost their lives during the action by the Royal Navy from 1918 to 1919 in support of Estonian independence.
There is a public ceremony on the 11th of November at Tallinn's Military Cemetery, Filtri tee 14. The Ceremony normally begins at 10.45 so arrival no later than 10.35 is advised. More information will be circulated by email closer to the time.
