Event Details

The BECC has organised networking and a guided tour of Banned Books, our new member, on the 19th of May. Banned Books, Keelatud Kirjandus, is a museum in Tallinn that preserves banned, censored, and burned books from around the world.

Banned Books, explores the highly relevant topic of literary censorship through telling the stories of these dangerous books and the lives of their authors, providing resources for learning about the history of censorship, contemporary challenges, and the free exchange of ideas.
